Swiss President Samuel Schmid opened the event which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary.

08 November 2004 - Cordic Mobile Booker - Cordic has launched the new revolutionary Wireless Mobile Booker product. Using GPRS radio network and PocketPC based handheld device such as XDA-II, SPV M2000 or ruggedised tablet PC, trips can be booked from anywhere at anytime. With Bluetooth enabled printer attached to the unit, ticketed confirmation with unique booking number can be issued. This product can be used at supermarkets, Railway stations, hotels, clubs, airports and shopping centres.
20 September 2004 - Record equipment Orders - Cordic today announced that the Company has received a record number of orders for its cPAQ taxi despatch System product. The number of drivers using Cordic Mobile Data Terminals has reached 2000 units. This represents orders from over 50 companies in the UK Taxi market. in the last 18 months.
15 August 2004 - Cordic expands in Europe - Cordic announces the launch of its product range in German language and opening of an office in Zurich, Switzerland (http://www.cordic.ch). The new Swiss based office will focus on delivering and support of Cordic products in Germany, Switzerland, France and Austria.
02 April 2004 - Cordic Web Booking - Cordic today announced the general availability of cPAQ WebBooker, the latest release of its online booking tool for corporate customers. With new and improved features to make trip bookings as easy as possible. Once booked by customer over Internet, trips can be booked and allocated to nearest taxis automatically. With optional facilities, customers can obtain the details of vehicle, driver, expected time of arrival. They can even track the allocated Taxi in real-time.
08.March 2004- Cordic signed a Master agreement with Orange Personal Communications Services Limited. Orange and Cordic Ltd today announce a new partnership to offer GPRS mobile services with Cordic Data application Solution in transport Industry. Cordic will utilise Orange SPV M1000 device.
12 February 2004 - Taxi Despatching across the Atlantic. Cordic announced today it was successfully able to despatch trips in real-time from Cambridge (UK) to Taxis equipped with Cordic Mobile Data units in New Orleans (USA) over the GPRS network. Vehicles were tracked in real-time across the link. The tests were conducted in collaboration with the New Orleans Traffic Centre (NTC) and T-Mobile (USA).

25 March 2003 - Cordic has become Orange Developers member Cordic is pleased to announce its partnership with Orange Developers Group. This will enable Cordic to participate in the ongoing development and testing of its products on the Orange GPRS network. The Orange group is one of the world’s largest mobile communications companies and a subsidiary of the France Telecom group, with operations in 16 countries across Europe and beyond. It provides a broad range of personal communications services, including GPRS.
