Marketing Assistant

Full-Time Permanent position - Immediate Start (Salary £16K to £20K depending on experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an bright Marketing professional to join a successful forward-thinking high-tech organisation. Cordic Ltd is a specialist Software Company based in Swavesey, Cambridge.

Your duties will include creation of marketing material including brochures, direct mailing and flyers, advertisements, organising events, assisting with press releases and external newsletters, direct email campaigns and much more. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, well organised and have a natural creative flair.

Qualifications:

- Good standard degree level education, preferably in marketing.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Skills/Experience:

- High level of computer literacy and experience in using publishing software packages.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player.
- First-class written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter, with ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Experience of website development and email marketing is advantageous.

Sales Executives

Full-Time Permanent positions - Immediate Start

Cordic Ltd is a leading provider of software and system solutions for the transport industry both in the UK and Europe.
Our success is built on market-leading products, technical leadership and first-class customer support. We are growing fast and now have a number of exciting permanent opportunities in our Sales Department, each focussing on a different geographical region of the U.K.

The Position will require:

- Planning and prioritising sales activities and prospect contacts, in order to achieve agreed sales and new business targets.
- Developing new accounts by identifying prospects, building relationships and maximising sales opportunities on an ongoing basis.
- Individual sales presentations.
- Staying aware at all times of industry and market developments and the potential opportunities available to target.
- Liaising with internal sales support to ensure that all sales activity is followed up appropriately.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Minimum 2 years sales experience.
- Understanding of IT systems and software.
- Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Experience in sales in Taxi and Private Hire market.

Technical Support Engineer (2 Positions)

Full-Time Permanent positions - Immediate Start (Salary to £24,000)

Our success is built on market-leading products, technical leadership and first-class customer support. We are growing fast and now have a number of exciting permanent opportunities in our Customer Technical Support Department based at our headquarters in Swavesey.

We are looking for Technical Support Engineers who can adapt to clients who have a broad range of technical abilities. The ideal candidate will strike a balance between excellent phone support skills, logical/analytical problem solving and use of initiative to ensure customer satisfaction.

As we are a growing company there will be flexibility to use your overall skill set, even outside of the technical support environment.

We value creative thinkers and offer the chance to be part of a vibrant team in a small enterprise setting, applying your expertise and developing new skills.

On a typical day, you will:

- Act as the initial point of contact for Cordic customers
- Diagnose and resolve issues reported to you
- Install and configure Cordic systems prior to delivery to customers
- Occasionally visit Cordic customer sites to install or maintain their systems

To be successful you must:

- Ideally have a degree or equivalent in Computer Science or an IT related subject
- Have experience of installing, configuring and maintaining Windows-based systems
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Possess excellent telephone skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
